Chen Zhongyi, distinguished Professor of "Xiaoxiang Scholars" at Hunan Normal University, is a contemporary Chinese critic, translator, writer, and member of the Faculty of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences。He used to be the director of the Institute of Foreign Literature of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the President of the Chinese Society of Foreign Literature, the Vice president of the Translators Association of China, and the member of the National Committee of the Chinese Writers Association.
